New employees
Eurel Nwachi joined the League of Minnesota Cities as public administration intern on Sept. 10. Prior to joining the League, Nwachi worked as a management intern for the City of Plymouth and as a graduate assistant for the Huskies Food Pantry at St Cloud State University. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from St Cloud State University and will complete her master’s degree in public administration from St. Cloud State in December 2024.
Gabe Johnson joined the League of Minnesota Cities as a workers’ compensation attorney on Sept. 5. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in organizational management/human resource management form the University of Minnesota and a law degree from California Western School of Law. Johnson has experience in the area of workers’ compensation from both the defense and plaintiff side.
Brooke Brightweather joined the League of Minnesota Cities as temporary receptionist on Aug. 14.
Kelsey Larson joined the League of Minnesota Cities as learning designer on July 15. Larson has a master’s degree in education from Stanford University and taught in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District where she organized and designed multimedia courses. She has also designed workshops for secondary schools across Minnesota.
