This course covers the role supervisors play in building and maintaining a workplace that is built on respect and is free of discrimination and harassment. It includes the fundamentals of Respect@Work for Employees course, and then dives deeper in to the unique role that those with leadership or supervisory roles play in creating a culture free from discrimination and harassment.
By completing this course, you will:
- Describe a respectful workplace.
- Explain the benefits of a respectful workplace and your role as supervisor in supporting this.
- Recognize signs of discrimination and harassment.
- Discuss how intention is different from impact and why that matters.
- Demonstrate the steps to report concerns about discrimination and harassment.
- Learn some best practices for how to handle complaints from employees.
